Ron joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2012 to cover North Central Texas. After serving thirty-nine years in education as a teacher, principal and superintendent he chose to occupy his time by staying connected to education through furniture sales. As an educator, he observed many changes in education and recognized the increasing need for a different type of furniture to foster collaborative education. He also noted the aesthetic value of making a school setting more appealing. He is very conscious of balancing a school district’s desire for quality product, service and affordable pricing. He is proud to be part of Lone Star Furnishings, because he can partner with districts to provide balanced solutions. Ron earned both BS.Ed and M.Ed degrees as well as Mid-Management and Superintendent Certifications from Texas Tech University.
