Brad is President and founder of Lone Star Furnishings. After twenty years of successful educational furniture sales experience working for large nationally focused companies, he opened the doors of Lone Star Furnishings, LLC in 2008. His goal was to focus on customers, applying the virtues he learned growing up in a small Texas town: integrity, humility and hard work. These are the virtues that guide the culture of Lone Star Furnishings, our interactions with customers and co-workers. Along with a focus on building client relationships, it is important to Brad that the company gives back to the community. Lone Star Furnishings is pleased to support various Christian ministries and other charities.
In addition to his responsibilities at Lone Star Furnishings, Brad is on the council of the Education Market Association and is a board member of two non-profit corporations. He is involved in various philanthropic enterprises and likes most any outdoor activity. Brad earned a BBA in Finance from Texas Tech and enjoys supporting his alma mater.

Rhonda joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2014 serving first as an individual contributor and most recently as VP of Sales. She has an MBA in Business Management and has held multiple sales and sales management positions during her professional career. Focused exclusively on serving those in Education since 2004, her career started in Technology focusing on the Finance, Fortune 500, and Education sectors. Rhonda is passionate about how learning environments and the furniture therein can impact a student’s desire and ability to function effectively in the classroom. She knows from personal experience as a “fidgety student” and parent of a highly intelligent, but focus-challenged child exactly how the resources we give our teachers and students can affect life-long success. Her primary passions are her son, Ryan, a seminary student and her husband, Paul, her resilient pillar of support.

Diana joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2017 as Business Manager. She is a Dallas native and attended Highland Park High School before heading off to The University of Oklahoma. Diana lived in Los Angeles for close to two decades working in the wholesale apparel industry. As a former sales professional and independent business owner, she applies her experience to the very important job of overseeing operations at Lone Star. She and her husband of twenty years are very busy raising their three children. On most weekends she can be found on a soccer or lacrosse field cheering on her kids.

Jo Lynn joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2016. Her many years of working in contracts administration, executive compensation, and purchasing make her an invaluable asset to our business office and resource for our Sales Coordinators. Her primary responsibilities include processing customer billings, handling collections, and reviewing vendor invoices, but Jo Lynn is the first to offer a helping hand or take care of thankless tasks around the office. She is a gem! When not taking care of her fellow LSF team members, Jo Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, two adult children, and three dogs.

Colin joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2018 in the Houston market. He is an experienced business to business sales person looking forward to working with area school districts. Colin takes a consultative approach to working with customers. He will be most remembered for his approach to customer service, applying skills learned working in his family’s restaurant growing up and a work ethic derived from his years in competitive sports. Colin played collegiate tennis and earned a BS degree in Psychology from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. On the weekends you will most likely find Colin watching his beloved Liverpool FC playing soccer on TV, enjoying time on the golf course, or hanging out with friends and his two dogs, Nola and Tonks.

Ben joined Lone Star Furnishings in January 2017. Born and raised in West Michigan, he made his way to Texas as quickly as he could! Ben has over 20 years of experience in the furniture industry. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, he helped manage an independent furniture supply company and spent 10 years learning the “ins and outs” of furniture manufacturing. In 2011 Ben switched his focus to educational furniture. He is known for his hard work, dedication, and honesty. Whether working on a single classroom remodel or an entire school, he remains focused on the impact the furniture has on students. Ben and his wife of 18 years, Sarah, are the loving parents of 4 young very active boys. Between hockey matches, BMX bicycle races, and baseball games they enjoy spending time together as a family.

Leslie joined the Lone Star Furnishings sales team in 2019. A Texas native, she earned a BBA from TCU and a degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Dallas. She started her career as a designer in high-end residential design but found her passion during the 3 years she served as Director of Interiors for an architecture firm specializing in education facilities. She branched out and spent 10 years in educational furniture sales before joining Lone Star Furnishings. Creating learning environments combines her love for both kids and design. As the parent of a son with ADHD, she understands the challenges that students can face in traditional classrooms. Leslie uses that knowledge and passion when helping districts create their ideal learning environment. Leslie’s son is her pride and joy. He keeps her on her toes! When not at work, she enjoys cheering him on during his various sporting events.

Dan has worked in the school furniture and equipment industry since 1982. He joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2009, covering the West Texas area. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Physical Education. He was a member of the 1976 Southwest Conference Co-Champs Red Raider football team. Dan learned from his football experience that there are no short cuts to becoming a champion. He learned hard work, discipline and doing your very best every day creates a winning attitude. His goal has always been to apply these same traits to his professional career. Dan and his wife Deb, a retired school teacher, have been married for 38 years. He has two adult children, each married, and one beautiful granddaughter.

Tiffany joined Lone Star Furnishings in January 2018. She is an experienced sales leader in the commercial furniture industry where she focused on commercial, higher ed, government and healthcare markets in West Texas. Committed to developing meaningful relationships with her customers, she takes a holistic approach to understanding their needs when working to build solutions. Tiffany earned a BBA in Organizational Management from Lubbock Christian University. She is an avid supporter of education and has served in local PTA leadership roles for over 15 years. Tiffany's husband is a banker in Lubbock and they are the proud parents of four wonderful kids.

Ted joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2014 and responsible for the Northeast Texas area. He’s been involved in furnishing educational facilities since 1998. After earning a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech, he moved to East Texas in 1988. His wife Laini, a classroom teacher for 26 years, now works as an Early Learning Specialist. With a family interest in education, he understands the importance of how classroom environments can influence student learning. Ted feels fortunate to be able to work with East Texas educators to help provide students with 21st century learning spaces. He and Laini have three kids. When not at work, Ted enjoys hunting, backpacking and triathlon training.

Lacey joined the Lone Star Furnishings team in February 2019. She is a Houston native who graduated from the University of Houston with a double major in Business Administration and Psychology. Working in the service industry throughout college helped her fine-tune her people skills and working with troubled youth in Pasadena ISD during a practicum for a college course revealed a love for working with educators and students. She comes to LSF after opening the Texas-Oklahoma market and building a territory from the ground-up for a furniture manufacturer focused on education. Transitioning to her role with LSF will allow Lacey to focus on opportunities near Houston and give her more quality time with her son and daughter. When not at work, she takes time to enjoy motherhood, sharing outdoor activities and supporting her daughter’s softball team, and sometimes indulging in a little personal time at the gym or enjoying some live music.

Travis joined the Lone Star Furnishings team in April 2017. He has a BBA in Finance from the University of Mississippi. Travis has enjoyed the transition from a career in finance to educational furnishings sales. Please don’t attribute his impeccable manners to his time in the deep south. His roots are in Collin & Grayson counties, so he is right at home as he works with school districts in the northern sector of the DFW metroplex. Travis enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with his girlfriend, friends, and his dogs, Loki & Ace.

Kelly joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2013 as a Sales Representative for the Greater Fort Worth area. Previously she worked in public education as both a teacher and administrator and holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kelly is passionate about creating lasting relationships with customers and being their go-to when a need arises. Her experience as an educator has given her a unique skill set when it comes to identifying furniture solutions that meet the instructional needs of the space. Kelly’s love of fashion and interior design complement the company’s turn key approach and make her an asset in the selection of appropriate finishes and textiles. With a teenage daughter and pre-teen son at home, most of Kelly’s spare time is spent on the golf course or in the stands cheering on her two favorite athletes.

Javier joined Lone Star Furnishings in January 2009. In his role as Estimator - Contract Sales he is a liaison to General Contractors and specifies science labs, auditoriums, bleachers, stadiums, and libraries. He is also the go-to guy for sales in South Texas. Javier has worked in education sales since 2001 and outside sales since 1991. Javier's wife of 28 years is Velma, a retired Librarian. They have 2 adult children. His "Bucket List" includes visiting all 50 states with Velma before he retires.

Kelley is our Senior Sales Coordinator. She joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2010 as a Sales Coordinator. Kelley started her career in the commercial furniture industry working as a Sales Coordinator and Project Manager. Kelley’s exceptional time management and organizational skills coupled with her ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, allows her to successfully complete many turnkey projects each year. She loves her Dr. Pepper and Dallas Cowboys and is devoted to her family which includes her husband, son and very active, playful dogs.

Michael joined Lone Star Furnishings in April 2012. He has coordinated projects throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and west Texas. Prior to joining Lone Star, Michael spent five years as an inside sales representative with a markerboard manufacturer. His experience contributes to his broad understanding of our customers and our sales team's needs. Michael is always smiling, but he wore his widest smile when his favorite Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. Michael resides in Carrollton with his wife and two children. When not on a Lacrosse or Soccer Field, they enjoy family game night, road trips, and beach vacations.

Erin joined Lone Star Furnishings in February 2017. She supports the Greater Houston Area, as well as small parts of the DFW and Houston areas. She also manages contract projects that include libraries and fixed seating. Erin’s prior experience with a construction management company contributes to her excellent project management and organizational skills. She puts those skills to work daily with turnkey and contract projects. You will often find this proud Texas A&M Grad wearing Aggie maroon and cheering on her team. Whoop!

Bethany joined Lone Star furnishing in 2017. With a background in commercial furniture sales, sales coordination, and a bit of project management, she feels that her position as a Sales Coordinator for Lone Star is perfect for her. Bethany’s desire to serve others translates well to her work when it comes to meeting customer needs and expectations. She enjoys putting in the extra effort to cultivate relationships with clients to help make the process of purchasing furniture a seamless and pleasant experience. When she is not at work, Bethany enjoys all outdoor activities, teaching yoga and dabbling in photography. She loves trying new things, getting out of her comfort zone, traveling the world and submerging herself in different cultures.

Sara joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2018. She is a furniture industry professional with over 15 years’ experience working for an A&D firm, multiple furniture dealers, a case goods manufacturer, and an independent furniture rep group. Her experience includes sales, marketing, bid preparation, and sales support. Sara’s motto is “Integrity, organization, a positive attitude, and a sense of humor are key to accomplishing anything.” She is a Dallas native and Texas A&M University graduate. Her husband, 2 sons, a dog, and 2 cats keep her busy. Sara enjoys movies and sports (particularly the Aggies and Cowboys). She and her friends gather for Supper Club to share home-made dishes based on a pre-determined theme like cuisines from around the world.

Rebecca joined the Lone Star Furnishings team in 2017. She has 15 years of experience in the Contract Furniture industry working with higher education, government and commercial accounts. Shortly after graduating from the University of North Texas with a BA in Business Management & HR she found her calling in the challenging and crazy world of furniture. She worked with local dealerships honing her skills in project management and customer service. She has a strong work ethic and enthusiastically tackles any issues with creative solutions. She enjoys building lasting relationships and making sure her clients are satisfied with their furniture purchasing experience. When not at the office she is an avid poker player and loves spending time on DIY projects or in the outdoors.

Rebecca is our CAD designer and has worked in the school furniture and equipment business since 1998. With an education in AutoCAD, ADA requirements, space planning guidelines, and interior design, Rebecca is involved with planning, estimating, design, and installation of many projects as well as contract administration. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Art and continues to explore her artistic side in her free time creating mixed media mosaics and painting.
Mallory joined Lone Star Furnishings in 2018. Before joining LSF she was busy working on her education. She has two degrees, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University and a degree in Practical Ministry from Christ for the Nations Institute. Mallory provides assistance to our sales, sales support and marketing departments and her attention to detail contributes to the successful completion of many projects at Lone Star Furnishings. During her free time, she enjoys being a worship leader at her church, an Aunt to six children, hanging out with friends, going on adventures with her family, and lastly spending every moment she can get with her soon-to-be-husband.

Gabe joined the Lone Star Furnishing team in May 2017. In addition to managing the Lone Star Furnishings website and social media presence , Gabe helps to coordinate Lone Star’s marketing efforts and development of sales tools. His experience in project management, sales and online marketing is a good foundation for the breadth of tasks he performs for Lone Star. A native of Colorado, he is an avid (and vocal) Broncos fan and is always willing to discuss their superiority to the Dallas Cowboys. When not at work, he is busy completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business, enjoying a game of frisbee golf or an impromptu musical jam session with friends, or walking his dog.
Field Service Manager
Josh joined Lone Star Furnishings at the end of 2018. His career prior to joining LSF has included warehouse management as well as woodwork & metal design and fabrication. Leveraging skills developed in those roles, Josh may often be found on LSF project sites facilitating installations or at our corporate office managing the volume of products stored and/or passing through the LSF warehouse. When not at his post with Lone Star he designs custom furniture for his own brand, Ever Reign Designs. An alumnus of Christ for the Nations, Josh also enjoys playing drums with his church worship team, fishing, and spending time with his wife and growing family.
